TISS is all about learning what suits your body best, what nourishes you, creates awareness and helps you tune into your own body. 

Some people suit gentle exercise, some cardio etc. Some suit high carbohydrates, some high protein, while others may thrive as vegan or vegetarians.

Our digestive system is the brain to our health and well being a properly functioning digestive system is absolutely critical to good health. The digestive system is both a supply line for receiving nutrients and a discharge line for removing wastes. Everything vital to life (except oxygen) enters the body by the digestive tract, a 7.5-9 metre tube with specialised regions - mouth, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum and anus. Along the way, the salivary glads, gall bladder, liver and pancreas provide essential secretory products for digestion.

Each day close to 10 litres of food, liquid and digestive secretions flow through it. Efficient "processing" all along the way from ingestion, digestion and absorption of foods to excretion of wastes requires a delicate balance of "give and take".
